Welcome to my Sony DSLR family, Minolta MAXXUM AF Lens 50mm. I have fall in love with it since my first sight during my senior using it as a prime lens. It's a still lens and really hard to find since manufacturer have discontinued this product line.

Why i am loving it? because it can be considered as a budget lens and the advantageous of f1.7 creating the sharpest image as well. It is function-able even in low light condition, damn fast auto focus indeed. It couldn't have the zooming function, but it produce a extreme shallow depth of field(DOF), thanks to the high aperture. Although it is a used set, it still well functioning, in fact, there are just a few dust inside and scratches which can be seen clearly. (dono how the previous owner protect the lens)
After plenty of survey and reading, i got to know that this is actually a lens that strongly recommended by the expert. Hence, i quickly survey from ebay. Fortunately, i got to buy one of the few units over there in cheaper price. I am so satisfying with the coming out photo result. Hopefully coming next should be the external flash and macro lens.
Below are the experimental photos

Ya, nice lens however it's just a still lens, that means it couldn't shoot in every angle as we like, unless we move a lot. Sony got f1.4 high aperture still lens but DAMN EXPENSIVE!
